Sign up now for OWL (Online Watch Link), a new web-based platform, that helps make managing Neighbourhood Watch easier and more effective, providing a secure platform for two-way communication and messaging between the police and residents.
This new development in Neighbourhood Watch (NW), recently introduced by the police and Neighbourhood Watch, is a free web-based platform, which acts as a serious deterrent to burglars, car thieves and unscrupulous door-to-door callers.
Emails and alerts are sent from OWL when the police need your help and you are able to share information directly and confidentially with local officers, for example, about suspicious activity in your area. Regular updates relevant to you, including crime alerts and timely crime prevention advice for your local area are sent directly to you by your local police or NW co-ordinator.
You don’t have to be a NW member to benefit from OWL and you can sign up to OWL if there is no local NW.
If you’re an existing member of a NW scheme, you should already have been given login details for OWL. If not, please go to owl.co.uk and complete the simple registration process to join today.
The police value your local expertise, and eyes and ears on the ground, to help them tackle crime and keep our community safe.
All messages are confidential. When alerts and information are sent to your area, you cannot see the list of recipients, and your details will never be provided to third parties for marketing. If you decide to leave OWL, all you data will be deleted from OWL.
