Each June the Society’s team of volunteers run our stall, supporting the Green Days Fete & Craft Fair, part of the annual Bedford Park Festival.
Our volunteers are kept busy selling special merchandise items including cards and books, mugs, bags, umbrellas, tea towels and aprons and talking to current and prospective members.
In addition to providing an opportunity for members to drop by for a chat, the stall also provides a great opportunity for new members to join the Society and for annual subscriptions to be paid.
It’s always encouraging to experience the support from members and local residents for the Society’s work.
Organised by St Michael and All Angels church, the weekend Green Days on Acton Green kick off the two-week arts and community Bedford Park Festival. The Society donates parts of the stall’s profits to the church’s charities.
